Durbin and the entire Democrat Party are nothing but a bunch of traitors, and should be treated as such. When is the Republican Party going to tell it like it really is and expose this low life Democrat Party for what they are: America haters? These treasonus Democrat bastards deserve no mercy!!! Get some backbone, Frist and company!!! You're a bunch of weak whimps!!!

He is loyal to only his party, and spits on America, the President has done nothing to denote this kind of hatred, nothing.

OBL is laughing.

Making decisions which affect the safety of our nation and they refuse to apologize for speaking in favor of the enemy? I too wonder why they deserve to be a part of Congress during wartime.

It was an apologia.

Saw his so-called apology on Fox. I for one was not impressed. Someone put some serious pressure on him. I think we should continue to keep this a hot-button issue and make them pay dearly for such utterances.

The media was blind to the event and now there are 40 AP stories concerning his apology.

I've got a couple of questions regarding this FBI memo:

1) Has anybody seen a copy of the actual memo?

2) Why was the memo written and later released?

3) How did it get into the RATs hands?

4) Why was the FBI even at Gitmo? This is a military facility. Military authorities have jurisdictional responsibility. Why was the FBI there reporting on the military?

The DU'ers are beside themselves. Love some of the comments:

"sigh. more cave-ins from the supposed opposition."

"It's because Daley chewed him out ...... not the 'pubs."

Bull Sh*t! Durbin's a big boy - he lost his nerve. Don't blame DU when our pink tutu Democratic Representatives cave in for it has nothing to do with us. These Democratic Representatives need to be voted out. The way I feel now, I'll let a republican WIN over a DINO by not voting at all. Why? Because with a republican at least I can see the knives coming at me."

"and with that, he took his crayons and left the building ..."

"I'd rather starve at this point. No matter how long it takes, we must clean house."

"PATHETIC. DISGRACEFUL. The first rule in politics is never apologize. Especially do not apologize for telling the truth. Durbin should resign his leadership position. He is not a fighter, and we need someone who will fight for us. Utterly disgraceful. Cut him loose. He is not with us.Step to the back of the line, Durbin -- you are a disgrace for "apologizing."

This is too funny!

If that is an apology, then I guess it depends on the meaning of IS!! (remind you of someone?)

Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.), who angered Republicans by comparing the Guantanamo Bay prison camp to Nazis, Soviet gulags, and Pol Pot's killers in Cambodia,

Accurate reporting; the remarks didn’t anger any Dems.

Whenever a liberal uses the phrase "a poor choice of words", it actually means that he/she said EXACTLY what was intended, but now has had his/her bluff called and has been caught with the proverbial pants down.

If this Senate allows Turban to keep his seat (which it no doubt will), then it will have proven - once and for all - that it is an utterly useless, worthless, shameless body of empty suits.

The news said Richard Head Durbin was tearful. However, Dick Durbin's tears were 'crocodile tears'.

Clicked the link.

Did he say "I'm sorry?"

I do not care if he did. Frist needs to load up a censure and maybe kick his ass out.

I'll tell you one thing. If I had a son and he was one of the boys that died in capturing some of these Gitmo terrorists, I would go to Washington and get me a piece of that low life A$$hole.
