SENATOR DURBIN WINS JANE FONDA AWARD
(East Stalingrad, Illinois) -- Senator Dick Durbin (CPUSA-Illinois) has just won the coveted Jane Fonda Award for Conspicuous Aiding and Abetting the Enemy During Wartime. The Jane Fonda Award is the highest honor bestowed by the prestigious Gus Hall Institute for the Prevention of Democracy at the University of Southwestern Illinois.
"Senator Durkin was the hands-down favorite this year," said Professor Leon T. Higginbottom, director of the Gus Hall Institute. "The way Senator Durkin accused American soldiers of being worse than Nazis made me think of the good old days during the Vietnam War when Jane Fonda said that American soldiers were war criminals. Thank goodness that Illinois has a politician like Dick Durbin so that we can finally leave behind the awful legacy of Abraham Lincoln."
So far there has been no official reaction from Senator Durbin, but close aides to the senator say that he plans to accept the award right after he gets done rooting against his son's team at the Illinois Junior Varsity Soccer Tournament.....
The problem is, the Democrats have gone so far over the edge, sometimes it's hard to tell it's a parody . . .
Good point. Behavior by the RATS merely exposes their inner selves for public viewing. We know now, they are not motivated to do what is right for the country.
They continue to load ballast onto a sinking ship which is good for the rest of us.
The National Organization for Women (NOW) today held a jubilant news conference to celebrate the latest advance in women's rights -- the right to have your estranged husband choose to end your life.
"First, it was women's suffrage -- the right to vote -- then abortion, the right to privacy," said an unnamed NOW spokesman. "Finally, a man has led the way in freeing us from the antiquated bigotry that has kept our former husbands from choosing a slow, painful death for us."
The NOW source said the court-ordered removal of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube, based on the testimony of Michael Schiavo alone has "opened a world of opportunities for women to freely die at the hands of the men they love."
"The next time you tell your husband 'I'd rather die than go to that party,' you can rest assured that your words have legal weight and, if the occasion arises, your wishes will be respected," said the NOW source. "What's more, you're free from the worry that your man will be prosecuted for your murder."
Michael Schiavo lives with another woman and their two children. He developed this "backup family" according to his lawyer, "to assuage his eventual grief over the coming loss of Terri -- the woman he loves to death."
