Why? Laura Bush isn't presidential material.

Town of Newburgh resident Richard Lang says they're quite serious. "I don't see anybody else on the horizon who can win," Lang said.
Either this guy is a complete whackjob, or hes a democratic knucklehead up to shenanigans.

This is so stupid. America is not looking for an FDR like hold on power.

No surprise here.
There are those who would like nothing more than to see Laura from '08 to '16, Jeb from '16 to '24, and then the Bush twins for another 16 years.

Hey, why not? But consider, the real trick is convincing Laura that it's a good idea.

I want.

This talk about Laura running is way too Hillary-esque for me.
I greatly admire our classy and delightful First Lady, but I don't believe she has the slightest inclination to get into politics, aside from the role she holds right now.
How 'bout Barney, though? I might vote for him. ;-)

Oh I get it. If he promotes the Laura wants to be president angle, that translates into a "she's not so crazy after all" Hillary endorsement.
Your right. He's a complete democrat knucklehead whackjob.

Cheney/Rice
I'm starting to think that's going to be the GOP ticket in '08. There have been speculation that Cheney will run in '08 if his health allows it.

Laura Bush isn't presidential material.I agree, but have to ask: since when is that a criterion?

***Why? Laura Bush isn't presidential material.***
Ronald Reagan was once turned down for a role in a movie because he "didn't have the presidential-look."
=P
Not that I think Mrs. Bush would be presidential material, just a tidbit.
