Man, I just hate being snotty but if Joran had been spending more time with "the only thing he could read was the Bible," instead of casinos, drinking under age, sneaking out of parents' house and who knows what else, maybe he wouldn't be in the situation he is in now.

True enough, TexKat. I think it was the wording that was goading me. I made a kneejerk reaction; it was like she was saying the Bible was an afterthought or a Readers' Digest or something. I saw it as a putdown of the Bible rather than seeing Joran as the only one who could have benefited by spending more time with the Bible.

I guess I need to be checking the motes in my own eye; thanks for showing me a 'bigger picture,' TexKat. <><
