And I suppose you'd be one of those parents telling their child not to talk, huh?

Yes, I would Howlin and so would almost every parent, until they heard the actual facts of the situation. Jug said that he went to the Joran's home at 3:00 am with five of his friends from Alabama, two police from Aruba and they shined the spotlights into the home, demanding to speak with their son. Come on! If that happened in the US, Jug would have been arrested on the spot and everyone knows it. If he would have had a rope in the car, he would have been taken in as a vigilante. Not having been in this situation, I can not say I understand their feelings, but I do feel for them, however, this reeks of arrogance.

Put the shoe on your foot my friend, and then tell me what you would have done as opposed to Jug's actions? NSNR

In my life, the ONLY people I've ever seen NOT TALKING are guilty people.

Maybe you think that Natalee's family should have just stayed in Alabama rather than inconvenience Joran's family and the Aruban police? After all, they could have just phoned the Holloways when they got good and ready, right?

If this was my son, rather than being on TV trying to convince the world he was "such a good boy" (in the face of all the contradicting facts), I'd be down at the jail, making him tell the truth.

Wrong. I would demand that my kid tell all he knows to help this family find their daughter. Only a guilty person/parent would do otherwise. You forget Jug and his friends WERE with the police. And you need to quit trying to compare Aruba to the U.S. It has become glaringly obvious to all of us that there is no comparison.

And you forgot to mention that Joran wasn't even home at 3:00 a.m. that Tues morning, when Jug, and his friends first arrived in Aruba, which was ANOTHER school night, BTW! Daddy sloot had to call Joran on his cell to find out where he was, for cryin out loud!

I agree with Jug. Joran is hardly the angelic boy his teary mamma is trying to convince everyone he is. This boy has obviously been raised with little or no parental authority or supervision. Yes, his parents love him, but so what? If Joran is hoping to get off the hook because his mamma goes on t.v. telling about what a wonderful boy he is, he better think twice.

3 AM doesn't seem to be an unreasonable hour around there..JVS would have soon been returning from his night out and Mr. Soot from a trip to McD's as it would seem to be typical activity for this family at all hours of the morning

In my state it is legal to point a flashlight at any hour
