What really has me freaked me out is Deepak's statement that natalee wanted to see some sharks? (Maybe she really said that, maybe the shark part was mentioned by Deepak because that is were she ended up.) Maybe they took her out and showed her the shark area... maybe she had an accident there or they did something else on another part of the island (like raped her and killed her or she OD. etc... They freaked and took her body to the shark area to get rid of it. (maybe daddy helped them)

Maybe the brothers were told by Daddy VDS to take off with their car and clean it up real well, while Joran and Daddy took Natalee back home to decide what to do with her body. There was a call to the the DJ who lives in Santa Cruz at 6am in the morning. Maybe Daddy took Joran to school so he could do his finals and so that everything would seem normal in the event police would catch up with them. Maybe Daddy and the DJ got rid of her body and this why Daddy cannot remember if he worked that Monday or not.

The brothers probably know she is dead, that is why the "something bad happened" statement slipped out. But the brothers don't know what Joran did with her body. So the brothers know what happened to her.

I'm finding it hard to believe that the Van Der Sloots would spend 90 minutes inside their home with Greta (media) and Natalee's mom if they were truly involved with Natalee's demise.

I do think Joran's parents know he is a spoiled brat, unpredictable and hard to handle and are trying to protect him any way possible.

I am beginning to think the last man arrested, the DJ, may be more culpable that we know. And there may be others involved as well, other than the ones we know of right now.

I had wondered why, if Joran had his friends pick him up...and he was with them, and they had the car, why he called Daddy to get him and they just did not take him home in their car. Your thoughts make sense. But, why did the police take Joran's car to inspect? They did that early on, I believe.

Along your thoughts, however, the phone call to Croes, the DJ makes sense...hoping he has some way of disposing of the body off the boat. Maybe Daddy called Lorenzo first, who knew Croes and that is how Lorenzo figures into this. Remember Lorenzo was called in for questioning. He was only there a short time, and released. Next we heard Croes went in (he gave himself up for questioning), and he has been kept.

Maybe Daddy VDS called the DJ at 6 am to ask where he could borrow or get a boat cheap for the day. Without the DJ knowing anything. Mother VDS is gone away to Holland and maybe Daddy VDS tells the DJ he wants to skip work and do some fishing. The DJ plays as part but it could be an innocent part.

Maybe the wanna be judge (yes he was studying to be a judge) has something on the DJ and he is holding over the DJ's head. (like drug trafficking with the Tattoo boat and maybe the Tattoo owner is also a drug trafficker - so MR Dj is caught between a rock and hard place.)

I meant to bring up that 6:30 phone call too. Wasn't the call made FROM that area, not necessarily TO that area?

If the father goes to McDonald's at 3 am. that leaves 3 and a half hours before the phone call at 6:30.

Doesn't take that long to drive over and toss a body to the sharks. Can you dig a grave in 3 and a half hours? Something else. What time does it start getting light on the island? by 6:30 am it is probably already quite light.

3 and a half hurs is plenty of time to use a boat and take Natalee to Venezuela. Just had to mention that. Maybe they have the DJ do that and when he gets back he calls them (around 6:30).
