I think Natalee's mom has contacted those that were on the trip. I'm guessing they would have told her everything they knew. That might be why they are so quiet. To not jeopardize HER investigation. ;)

What's most frustrating about the Aruban justice system is the lack of information available not only to the press, but the victim's family, as well.

Why hasn't the FBI told the press what they know? At the very least, they have spoken to the other students and chaperones, and should be able to establish a rudimentary timeline....

Jossy Mansur, editor of Diario, said on FOX-TV that Steve Croese is "an able seaman", which means he knows how to skipper a boat like the Tattoo. He probably did fill in for the Captain on occasion.

I think the chaperones aren't talking much because if they go on tv, one of the first questions is going to be, Do you know the meaning of CHAPERONE? Why did you call yourself that instead of lawyer? Lawyers sign contracts. Being in the spot light will draw attention to themselves in a negative way.jmo

IIRC, the photo had part of the word TATTOO in the background behind the guy in the white shirt and two DJ's in t-shirts.

The photo is not a pix of the bridge of the Tattoo. Note that the guy in the white shirt has a mike on his headset & that neither of two guys in tee-shirts have a microphone. The guy in the tee-shirt wearing the headset is probably the one who finds &/or spins and the white shirt guy does the commentary. The headset could be for giving instructions on the next play selection on a separate channel while the music is booming?
