I think younger (elementary school) kids are happy about hanging out with Mom. My two youngest children can't stand the thought of spending all day with other kids their age who are acting up or don't want to learn anything. OTOH, my middle schooler is getting tired of hanging around with me and his 'baby' brothers. He LOVES homeschooling but misses not being in the 'know' about what's going on at the school even though he has tons of neighborhood friends, classes, homeschool group activities, and sports teams to keep him busy.

So I say: I am sorry I don't know what to say. ( I don't think you really are concerned what I have to say)- but demkicker has accused me of "ignoring" your post #324 so I went back read it and said I don't know what to say. My child has a different experience- (as in so I have no advice). That is not snide
So Where she posts: "I noticed that you also conveniently ignored Born in a Rage's posts #323 to me and Gabz and her post #324 to you, which agreed with my remark that set you off in the first place.(DEMKICKER)
And note that she did not ping me to that post where she says: "Glad you're not trying to speak for Gabz because as you well know from the pings, she has already apologized to me for wrongly claiming that I was "attacking homeschoolers I'll call your attention to her posts #333 & #335.
Looks like you're the odd man out since both of them know that I made valid points.(Font color=red>I thought you may like to see what was being said about you here- I could be wrong You made the mistake of taking my remark about feeling sorry for homeschoolers personally when it never was intended to be personal. When you made it personal, I'll admit it made me angry and I was rude to you in return.
So I thought you would like to know that another poster was attributing "keeping me odd man out" in part to something you said. Not to bring you into a fight. She has already done that. As I said it is up to you if you want to let that stand. Also to show you that someone is accusing me of ignoring one of your posts, which you did not post to me:

Whatever I do on this thread is damned if I do and Damned if I don't. I am supposed to comment upon posts that I am not pinged to and not supposed to Butt in when I see something I want to comment upon. I am supposed to accept that it is OK to misrepresent homeschoolers, but if I speak up ,I will be called names and have people say I should shut up about that as well and just take it. Oh, Ok.
So perhaps I thought somewhere there was discussion on me not commenting upon other people's posts. There is no snide comment about your son. Why the heck would I do that? This whole thing has been blown out of proportion because I responded to a defamatory comment by demkicker, that all homeschoolers only see Mom and Dad.

Wow, whatever. When a 'conversation' gets to the point where the discussion is based on former posts which direct to other posts about posts regarding other peoples posts about my posts...it's time to call it a night! LOL! Have fun :-)
