I especially appreciate your point about Margaret Hassan. Have we been treated to months of her picture on the NYTimes & the WashPost as they demand answers to the criminal brutality that had them treated that way?

I've thought I was following fairly closely what's going on, and I don't recall this specific story.

Just adds to my previous statement that anything positive to U.S., or anything negative to the enemy, is not covered very well by the MSM.

Margaret Hassan was an aid worker that worked for, I think it was Oxfam International.

During the battle for Fallujah, Marines found her body as I described it.

I am revolted by Senator Durbin’s remarks comparing the detention center in Gitmo with a death camp.

I have a daughter at Ft. Hood Texas with orders to the Middle East within the next 30 days. To boot, her husband ALSO has orders to the ME and my wife and I will be raising their children for the next year, and permanently if something should happen to them while they’re putting their lives on the line to serve this great country, and that’s my pleasure and my honor.

Vice and villany are the preferred tools of Durbin and the Democrats. It is their essence and cannot be changed any more than a leopard can change its spots. They do not love country or decency, only self. That they might deny self for the good of country is anathema to them. They worship at the alter of power. They are corrupt absolutely.

Senator Durbin compared our servicemen to Nazis who killed six to nine million in gas chambers, Soviets who killed two million in their gulag and tens of millions more overall, and Pol Pot who slaughtered two million.

The senator's remarks are now broadcast triumphantly over Aljazeera as a battle cry to terrorists to redouble their murderous attacks against our nation's servicemen and women.

Senator Durbin must be formally censured by the Senate for giving aid and comfort to our enemy in this time of war.

The Democrat Party has gotten to the point where they’re led by nothing but foaming at the mouth liberals who hate America with a passion that burns white hot. They are only too happy to be used as propaganda tools by the enemies of America. Senator Durbin’s remarks have been picked up by Al-Jazeera and broadcast around the Arab world over and over and over until it becomes truth, much the same as Newsweek’s flushed Koran story was. I’m sure that like Newsweek, Senator Durbin will issue a useless apology that nobody will pick up on, allowing the damage done to America’s reputation and prestige stand.

Great rant. I saw this moron Durbin on TV tonight for the first time. I had never even heard of him before. He's talking, and the Dems around him are grinning ear to ear and looking at him like he's their Village Idiot.

The man is a disgrace to the Senate. He should resign immediately.

AR, Your words hit the mark. I too, am angered by the deliberate slander of our military by DICK DURBIN.

What he said was calculated to harm the President and he cared not at all about demeaning our troops and endangering our country in the process. There is only one word for what he has done : TREASON
