I don't think there's any reason to accept an apology if one is offered. Let him stand by his words and face the consequences.
He should still be hanging from a tree -- and if he was to show up in Iraq, and face our troops, it would be alot uglier than that, and well deserved.

PREDICTION: Durbin's office (he won't give it himself) will release a short statement that will try to walk the fine line of agreeing with everything the ADL said in their statement and standing by his previous remarks.

I wrote to his office, as has my wife, requesting his resignation. I will accept that but not an apology. It is too late for that. I await the next election to see him GONE.
