Drunk drivers can get convicted 3 times without any incarceration whatsoever. 25 years for these guys would be totally obscene. Let's not get carried away. It was only money. Kozlowski's dad was a major figure in the Essex County Republican Party back in the 1950s and 1960s, at a time when you could count all the Polish American Republicans on one hand. My great grandfather was more prominent in the Newark Polish community that spawned Koz and the paternal side of my family, but was a Democrat.
