Having won with 60% of the vote last time, I don't think the Dickster will be contemplating resignation any time soon. Was that 60% living or dead?

He doesn't have much competition here in IL. The republican party here is so messed up, they had to import Allan Keyes to run here.(Though I do wish that Keyes had won.)

Was that 60% living or dead?Illinois, particularly Crook County, is Equal Opportunity all they way. They don't discriminate against dead people.

The republican party here is so messed up. . .Way too many years of Thompsons, Edgars, George Ryans and other "moderates" took their toll on the party.

Thanks for posting!
I did call Buyer's off to thank him. However I did let them know that an apology from Durbin would be as meaningful as one from Charles Manson.
He has a place on his site for a letter of recognition, think an approtiate one would be for Durbin, Traitor of the week!
To: Mike Bates
Ryan was the last straw. His tenure totally sent the ship down the waterfall.

I wish someone in the Bush administration would have the balls to demand Durbin's resignation for his treasonous comments. Needed repeated forcefully and emphatically.
Clearly Durbin is unfit to stand as a representative of America.
AMEN!!

I suspect that Durbin said what he said to avoid being selected to be Hillary's running mate in '08.

LOL! He may get selected as Ben Laden's right hand man. Durbin has done more to promote terrorists this week than Ben Laden could ever have hoped for.

I would be laughable if it was not so sick. It's like watching that old Monty Python skit about the inquisition where the interrogators gave the prisoners the 'easy chair' as torture.

No investigation here...
The MSM doesn't care if dems do wrong. Dems get a pass. They're like the teacher pet. Everyone knows how creepy they are, but the teacher's an unfair idiot. You know that right? The New York Times plays favorites. They can't see past their prejudices. And they're not going to do anything that hurts a dem. No investigation here...
