Dick Durban is on the floor of the senat again - restating what he said on the 14th. Blaming the right wing media. He just said he respects the troops - LOL! What an ass he is!!! He said what he said was not an insult to the troops.
Nah. This would make a lot of them vulnerable in 2006 and 2008. The likes of Durbin wouldn't sacrifice himself (willingly anyway) to make Hilly look better in 2008.

Durbin is in trouble now with McConnell.
McConnell is nailing this down, forcing Durbin to say again that he believes action in Gitmo can be compared to Polpot, Stalin, and Hitler. YOu rock, McConnell!!!!!

I flew from Atlanta to Tampa this am. Just after the door was closed the lead Delta attendent asked that we give a round of applause to the 6 young gentlemen just returning from Iraq..it was thunderous. When we landed she then asked that we all stand and allow these gentlemen be allowed to exit first so they could spend time with their families. We did and again much applause and handshakes to them as they exited...I would wonder what their thoughts of Durbin would be or will be as they hear about his statements.
