Sorry folks, it's a slow day in the NFL. I could go Cowboys crazy, but I will spare those of you who have yet to see the light, and still refuse to support America's Team!

The Cowboy cheerleaders would put up a better fight than these Cowboys! lol
Just kidding, I think and hope they take it to the Eagles this year in embarrassing fashion.

In an interview with the Akron Beacon Journal, Winslow said he was aware he was breaching his contract."I'm grown. I still have to live my life," Winslow told the newspaper. "I did know the circumstances behind it, but I'm still learning. I'm young. You think you're invincible. You think nothing's going to happen to you. It was a mistake."
Here's another lesson -- don't sign heavily incentive-laden contracts.

Done. So what is your prediction for the Cowboys this season? I'm gonna say they get a Wild card spot, and get to the NFC Championship game.

With the great offseason they had -- much better than a year ago -- they should definitely be a playoff contender. The problem is going to be offense, especially early in the season. Too many new faces, and Bledsoe isn't much of an upgrade over Testaverde. But they vastly improved their defense. In the NFC, that fact alone should translate into two or three more wins, maybe more.
I think the Parcells master plan all along was to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender by the 2006-07 season. Give them one more offseason to fix the offense and they should be right on schedule.

Browns MAY get something out of this head case (I hope)

I expect them to be back in the playoffs. Parcells knows Bledsoe's strengths and weaknesses well so he'll do a good job putting him in a good position to do well.

If Crenell doesn't like his attitude he'll be gone. He won't put up with any distractions on his team.

I think Bledsoe is a huge upgrade from Vinnie, who's been a major choker since the Orange Bowl. I think he single handedly lost a couple of games last year, especially with the fumble in the last 3 minutes of the Pittsburg game when we were up. He puts up decent numbers but always finds the most critical time to make a major blunder (just slightly behind 1) never get involved in a land war in asia, and 2) never go up against a sicilian when death is on the line).
If Julius Jones does as good as he did last year, that will take alot of pressure off Bledsoe, and the offense could do ok.
On defense, I've got to believe that the draft helps us alot and Newman won't have as bad a year as he had last year.
With a litle luck, we could win the NFC East, but a wild card should be no problem at the least.

Actually, this article is of interest to those of us who support America's real team, as it means K2 may finally play for us next year. :o -Eric

Wild card for da Boys seems most realistic. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Beagles fall back to the rest of the pack this year. Unfortunately, the Redskins and Giants should also be better next season.

He's still only 22 years old. There's still time to grow up. If he heals right, we will.

And, of course, it would be a total Cleveland thing to have someone as talented as Winslow have his career ruined at this point.

Winslow has amazing talent, it's a shame we may never get to see him play if he just gets injured every single year.

None taken. I always liked Bernie, he was a big part of that Super Bowl season for Dallas. He came off the bench when Aikman got hurt and kept things going. I'm happy he got his ring, happier still that he did it with the STAR on his helmet.

Anytime you want to go Cowboy crazy is okay with me. Hoping the 'Boy's kick some butt this year. An upset over Philly would be a dream come true.
Go Cowboys!
