I actually tend to agree with Rush on that, but it is a big, big smack to Durbin for Warner to say this. It's hugh in fact.

Now he says the FBI report is uncontroverted. NOW HE IS GOING TO READ IT AGAIN.

He's saying they didn't listen, and were stupid. And he thinks he has been mischaracterized.

Durbin is actually going to re-read the statement again so "his collegues can reflect upon it." What a lot of f'ing nerve. We've all heard the whole thing and we have come to our conclusions, and we are right, you are a piece of cr@p.

Durbin re-reading the same FBI agent's letter describing "atrocities" at Gitmo. Durbin's recap to CYA by laying blame on this letter.
This FBI statement doesn't make sense. The agents says "A COUPLE OF TIMES I WENT INTO A ROOM". Note, "A COUPLE". Then he says "Often the detainees have", but he only did it a couple of times, not "often".

Now he is repeating what he said yesterday. He doesn't get that, in context, his statement that you would assume this was horrible if you read it -- meaning he thinks this IS horrible.

Now he is saying that we wouldn't condone this conduct. Some might agree with that, and if he had simply SAID that I don't think there would be a real outrage.
But "not condoning" is a far cry from "sounds like a gulag, or "Hitler's holocaust".
