You know, will come a time when lip service is not enough? FR is great for discovery, comment and lip service. What does it take for people to become so outraged, that they say enough is enough? When do people take to the streets in MASS protest against these sicko politicians who care more about some "terrorist" sitting in a "comfortable" jail cell and less about the safety of you and me? Just gets frustrating!!!
Where is a Cinderella Leader? A leader, not some pampered politician who owes some interest group; that has suffered past having to use a dinner fork to eat his salad in a Yale or Harvard dining hall. A leader who UNDERSTANDS what it is to battle for care and safety of one's family and of one's own country.
Damn discouraging it is! Damn politicians will be the death of America's dedicated men and women who fight for the freedoms we cherish. :(
To Self: Hell they will be the death of all of us..see: Republican-controlled House of Representatives voted Wednesday to remove the Patriot Act provision that "allows federal agents to examine people's book-reading habits at public libraries and bookstores as part of terrorism investigations."
The vote was 238-187 – 38 Republicans joined 199 Democrats and amendment sponsor Bernie Sanders, (I) of Vermont, in supporting the repeal.
Hear Ye!..hear ye!.. all Terrorists.. head to your local library and feel safe from investigation; for before a "public" not "secret" hearing can be determined on the the value of an investigation on said "you the considered person of suspicion",..you will have committed your act and fled the country.
