I hope it's true that Rita's going to Aruba. However, it would be with an MSNBC crew and researchers--it wouldn't be the same.
She did a fine job on the BTK Killer case...her sources were amazing, and everything she reported turned out to be true in that case. She really got the scoop.
The two who have replaced her on Big Story (Claudia Cowan and Jamie Colby) are pretty but not aggressive enough for the assignment. They are not as experienced at investigative reporting. They don't cultivate new leads or new sources. They don't dig deep enough.
Maybe the Holloway-Twittys could hire Rita as their PI and PR person.
