I haven't seen Jimmy in years. I wish he wouldn't say things like this. It only hurts him and doesn't help those of us who are opposing same-sex marriage and judicial tyranny in the US.
I guess Jimmy Swaggart is lucky that there was no one who wanted to kill porn addicts or sex addicts who hire prostitutes.

This is just way over the top.. if you believe this is a 'sin' then what about 'hate the sin, love the sinner' or 'all sin is the same in the eyes of God'? Isn't his threat just as much a sin as what he believes homosexuality is?

I think that's an old Southern saying. My Grandma who's from Oklahoma uses that in reference to my Grandpa all the time. "You're Grandpa is so thick headed I'm going to kill him and tell the Lord he's dead," kind of thing.
