Tin foil sales must be slumping, I bet Alcoa and Reynolds are executing a secret plot to increase sales! LOL.

"A former chief economist"

Funny, doesn't sound a whole hell of a lot like "structural engineer".

In short, this is a card-carrying fool, and only another fool would take him at all seriously.

Did I miss anything?

Not really, except that I'd add there are all too many fools in the government who would happily take this seriously. John Conyers and Barbara Boxer come immediately to mind, although there are many, many more.

It's really telling that this crap is being reported in so-called "respectable" media outlets (such as UPI) and isn't confined to the far out conspiracy sites and the DU. They can't really be serious about trying to push this thing since the Downing Street memo hole dried up, can they?

Oh, I like that: Two of the buildings were ALLEGEDLY hit by aircraft.

Damn those Dick Cheney mind-control rays! Make us see what they want us to see. How did Halliburton manage to defeat the blocking qualities of tin foil anyway? Good God , they've even stolen that bit of security from us!

Reynolds, now a professor emeritus at Texas A&M University, also believes it's 'next to impossible' that 19 Arab terrorists alone outfoxed the mighty U.S. military, adding that scientific conclusions about the WTC collapse may hold the key to the entire mysterious plot behind 9/11.

'It is hard to exaggerate the importance of a scientific debate over the cause(s) of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7,' said Reynolds this week from his offices at Texas A&M. 'If the official wisdom on the collapses is wrong, as I believe it is, then policy based on such erroneous engineering analysis is not likely to be correct either. The government's collapse theory is highly vulnerable on its own terms. Only professional demolition appears to account for the full range of facts associated with the collapse of the three buildings.

Where the hell did the Left dig up this idiot? Or did they have to dig very far? Since when does a degree in economics make this guy an expert on the World Trade Center disaster?

[From the beginning, the Bush administration claimed that burning jet fuel caused the collapse of the towers. Although many independent investigators have disagreed, they have been hard pressed to disprove the government theory since most of the evidence was removed by FEMA prior to independent investigation.]

WHOAH! Not so fast.

I need time to get my tin-foil hat. http://johnf-ingkerry.com/

Aaaaaah. That's better.

Look, what this moonbat is doing goes way beyond freedom of speech. This probably constitutes actual malice and reckless disregard for the truth, and the guy ought to be put on trial. There's a war on. We ought to be able to hold a guy like this responsible for his actions.

For God's sake, if the dopes can talk about impeaching Bush, this guy should be tried for libel.

As it is, this guy is a joke to everyone who reads this lunacy. It's worth passing this stuff around just for the amusement value of it all. I mean this is REALLY funny stuff!

But if you prosecute him for his ravings, you've just made a martyr of him, and one million new moon-bats will start barking in his place.

I think what happened is that the Bush administration decided to blow up the world trade center towers one day. They had just finished setting up the charges when coincidentally, two jet liners from the same airport hundreds of miles away, coincidentally carrying a bunch of perfectly innocent Arab men with one way tickets, happened to accidentally crash into the WTC towers just as Bush was giving the command to ignite the charges. Thus this atrocity was covered up. Just another example of how lucky Bush is. Every time he uses his power as President to murder thousands of Americans for fun, some goofy event comes along and covers his sorry ass. He’s just like his Dad who, according to a cable access show I saw, killed Kennedy.

I don't mind so much the crackpot or tinfoil. I do mind someone dumping in the punchbowl, and not backing it up one way or the other.
