I hope the museums show how blacks facilitated slavery then and today, and how American indians slaughtered each other before the white man even arrived.

We (Cyrano and I) used to discuss the show on a mailing list faithfully.

It was a neat conspiracy-driven show, but Larry Hertzog did a good job making you think about moral dilemmas. That's why we watched it, and that's likely why it got cancelled so quickly.

I had dinner tonight with people from the National Traditionalist Caucus and they are very eager to get on this issue and join us in a rally. We agreed it should be at Ground Zero, and as soon as we can do it. Some thought a weekday would be better, some thought a weekend.

We also agreed that we should try to get some well-known people on board: Some suggestions were Sliwa, Coulter, Ognibene, Hannity.

Thoughts from FR?

Some thought a weekday would be better, some thought a weekend.

In order to be noticed, our rally has to bring in HUGE numbers and I doubt we'd get that on a weekday when most are working. IMHO the way to get peoples ire up is to place an ad letting everyone in the Tri State area know what is being planned at the site. I doubt many are aware or we'd have heard an outcry long before now.

Takebackthememorial.org is considering accepting donations in order to place an ad, but have asked that we continue to hound cable, radio and TV stations and e-mail everyone we know to alert them.

Excellent idea about rally, meeting, strategy session, at ground zero. I am a news photographer by trade, and would be happy to set up nearby, take some digital pics and transmit them to blogs and news organizations.
I'm down for whenever and wherever. Keep me posted on this. Again, at the risk of seeming redundant, I would love to see the thrust of this effort involve 1) insuring the memorial at ground zero involves ONLY a tribute to the fallen Americans tragically taken from us on 9-11 and 2) Concrete initiative to restore the Twin Towers at that site as a symbol to all Americans and the rest of the world that we will not be terrorized by anyone.

thanks for letting me know....I didn't see the information on that. I'm always a day late and a dollar short :-). I have a commitment in Hartford at 8 a.m.`so I should be able to make it down by rally time but it will be close. Are there any more details anywhere , like where people are meeting, etc. Also I will bring my cameras and laptop but will probably transmit from Milford, CT which is about hr. away from Manhattan. I would like to transmit images of the event to as many news orgs. and blogs as possible asap after the event as I can.

I will bring my Gadsden banner, a nice bright yellow so the FR folks can find one another. I hope this will be huge and an FR marker will be needed!

"If anyone wants to see a proper memorial site that respects the dead, go visit the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor."

I think that the best memorial to the Pearl harbor attack is in the desert where we tested the first atomic bomb.

I think it's insane....

The memorial should focus on what we face currently...a sick enemy that is hellbent on destroying our existence! Not some PC garbage. Tell it like it is.
