Please tell me you are not referring to the sloppy facts in the PDF file. They have the appearance of some dope smoking anarcist at his trusty hand me down typewriter, having a train of thought session. But, I have yet to see BUSH's signature on ANTYTHInG.
Even Putin backs Bush on the WMD bit. There's a great speech by Clinton while he was Prez stating EMPHATICALLY that Saddam had WMD and regime change was the way to go. So he passed all this INCORRECT intelligence to Bush?? uh huh!!
You know this is all so much BS. These communist lefties talk how overthrowing Saddam wouldn't be legal.
Well it just so happens that Saddam was ordering his army to fire on American and British aircraft everyday, In violation of the UN mandated "no-fly zones".
Last time I heard firing on another nations aircraft which are not breaking any laws is a act of war.
Saddam never honored the original ceasefire document from the first gulf war.
This crap is straight out of the KGB's communist tactics manual.
I guess gassing your own people is okay according to the UN.
Well if what is on RAW STORY is what the media now accepts as "proof", the MSM is in even deeper credibility trouble.
Bigtime Ditto that.
Jack Straw would be one of the signatures. These would be signed by the Brits not Bush! These are British documents supposedly. That is why the British press threw them out there during the Election to screw up Tony Blair's chances of winning.
What is RAW STORY??? A so called new website??
Why aren't the whiners whining about Kosovo???
Then what is the Bush bashing all about. I certainly would expect more from you than this flimsy, holey propaganda. What has gotten into you. Your capable of much better stories than this AFO.
And how exactly does it show that? I looked at it and the 'create the conditions' clause referred to setting up the last chance efforts for saddam to avoid the conflict. There certainly was no mention or inference of 'legality'.
These people are grasping for straws (apologies to jack straw)
Don't know but MSNBC is verifying the Docments posted on that website. It's a Leftist website. We aren't allowed to post from there. We did in the beginning but Free Republic decided they didn't care for them.
Because Kosovo fit the two Dem criteria for a just war - it was run by a Democrat, and it wasn't in our national interest, therefore the war was not "tainted" by such.
This story is from San Francisco Gate a legitimate newspaper- I can't post from Raw Story.
Don't know, was referred to it for "proof" that this memo existed. Very childish attempt at propaganda IMO. The anarchist and commie/fascist/socialist/Dums just don't have the propaganda thing down very well.
I would prefer to ignore this and I did until it started hitting the MSM and MSNBC has now verified the documents. I still don't believe the doc are legit. But the MSM is now picking up on this - and Friday Conyers will have his Rally in Washington and will be having a Judiciary Committee hearing on this. Just posting this so we are prepared for all the crap that is going to be thrown at us.
Meanwhile, GWBs polls are tanking and the Usual Suspects in the Republican party are turning on him.
From SS to judges to Iraq and now this, what little we hear as a response from the WH seems to be profoundly ineffective.
Karl Rove may be a political genius, but he's got me scratching my head these days.

THE WHITE HOUSE
Office of the Press Secretary
STATEMENT BY THE PRESIDENT
Today I am signing into law H.R. 4655, the "Iraq Liberation Act of 1998."
...
Let me be clear on what the U.S. objectives are:
The United States wants Iraq to rejoin the family of nations as a freedom-loving and law-abiding member. This is in our interest and that of our allies within the region.
The United States favors an Iraq that offers its people freedom at home. I categorically reject arguments that this is unattainable due to Iraq's history or its ethnic or sectarian make-up. Iraqis deserve and desire freedom like everyone else.
The United States looks forward to a democratically supported regime that would permit us to enter into a dialogue leading to the reintegration of Iraq into normal international life.
My Administration has pursued, and will continue to pursue, these objectives through active application of all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions. The evidence is overwhelming that such changes will not happen under the current Iraq leadership.
In the meantime, while the United States continues to look to the Security Council's efforts to keep the current regime's behavior in check, we look forward to new leadership in Iraq that has the support of the Iraqi people. The United States is providing support to opposition groups from all sectors of the Iraqi community that could lead to a popularly supported government.
...
The Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 provides additional, discretionary authorities under which my Administration can act to further the objectives I outlined above. There are, of course, other important elements of U.S. policy. These include the maintenance of U.N. Security Council support efforts to eliminate Iraq's prohibited weapons and missile programs and economic sanctions that continue to deny the regime the means to reconstitute those threats to international peace and security. United States support for the Iraqi opposition will be carried out consistent with those policy objectives as well. Similarly, U.S. support must be attuned to what the opposition can effectively make use of as it develops over time. With those observations, I sign H.R. 4655 into law.
WILLIAM J. CLINTON
THE WHITE HOUSE,
October 31, 1998.
