Regarding Jackson? Good grief! I have personally seen just how hard it is to prosecute child molestation cases and just how frequently they get away with it, usually because 1) the kid doesn't tell until a long time later, or 2) no one wants to put the kid through the trauma of a trial. As witnessed here, who can blame them? That's why children are such perfect targets.

I also have seen the long term effects on the victim's life.

Jackson is classic. His obsession with children. His obsession with childlike fantasies. His sharing his bed. The physical contact. Alcohol. It couldn't be more obvious.

I agree - Michael Jackson is an obsessed pedophile who chooses his victims very carefully. The jury shouldn't have been swayed to the not guilty verdicts by the loony-tune mom. It is quite possible (and in this case fact) for the victim's mother to be a dishonest fraud artist AND for MJ to be guilty as charged. Criminals don't all operate in bastions of innocence and purity - they often victimize other criminals (in this case the mother), though the boy seems to be a truly innocent victim. MJ stalked and selected a weak victim (suffering from cancer at the time) with a despicable mother precisely because he thought they would never dare challenge him and would never win any legal case if they did. It is a travesty to see this calculating sociopath go free....
