Lincoln should have blockaded their ports, raised armies to invade the rebellious northern states, arrest thousands that disagreed with his policies, burn their crops and homes, kill their women and children, destroy their factories, occupy them with millions of Southerners and rule them with military governments while robbing their state treasuries blind. </sarcasm>
