U. S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, a vocal critic of President Bush's immigration policy, announced he would run for President in 2008 - if he could not find a more viable candidate to adopt his views on illegal immigration.

President Bush's immigration policies deserve strong criticism. This nation's borders are not secure. The solution to our unsecured borders is not to give amnesty to illegal aliens as Sen. McCain and Sen. Brownback wish to do.

Cong. Tancredo will not be supporting President Bush's plan to give amnesty to illegal aliens. Cong. Tancredo opposes any legislation that gives legal status to illegal aliens.

Cong. Tancredo does deserve the support of every American who cares about the future of our country. I have been very impressed with Cong. Hayworth's recent stateemnts regarding illegal immigration. He seems to have the same commitment to our country's future that Cong. Tancredo does.

The megalomaniac is once again trying to get attention. I guess back stabbing Tom Delay wasn't enough. Thankfully, he doesn't stand a chance in 2008. The Republican base is not going to select anyone who is best known only two things, attacking President Bush and attacking Tom Delay.

Too bad Tancredo and his worshipers can't figure out that the American people are not going to vote for a candidate that runs on this one issue. It didn't work for his master Buchanan and it isn't going to work for Tancredo.

The worst part is the guy is stupid and crazy enough to run as a third party candidate and give the election to Hillary. Then again, I'm sure his followers wouldn't mind that. After all, most of them think that Hillary is on the same page as Tancredo.

HR 3534 Establishes a new guest worker program that replaces the current H nonimmigrant visa category with a single H visa covering all aliens coming to the United States temporarily to perform skilled or unskilled work, where U.S. workers are not available.

Maybe you don't understand the difference between legal aliens and illegal aliens. Cong. Tancredo's legislation allows legal aliens to come to the United States to work. The McCain-Kennedy amnesty proposal allows illegal aliens to earn citizenship. The Kyle-Cornyn amnesty plan and the Bush amnesty plan each give legal status to illegal aliens. Cong. Tancredo's plan does not give legal status to illegal aliens.
