Economic disparity is a phenomenon no effort of mankind is able to eliminate short of ideologies that are worse than the problem. I'd venture to guess most people the world over don't know what the G-8 is, what it does, when it meets, where it meets, etc.
Every dollar we send to Africa makes matters worse in the longterm. Aid to Africa just props up corrupt governments and allows them to channel their own resources to their cronies and militias. No money for Africa is my motto.
