FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.; Tom Malinowski, Washington director of Human Rights Watch; historian David McCullough.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., and Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

LATE EDITION (CNN) : Sens. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., and Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; Imad Moustapha, Syrian ambassador to the U.S.; former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former Defense Secretary William Cohen; Lee Hamilton and John Lehman of the 9/11 Public Discourse Project.
What happened is based on the following exchange, an AP reporter (or maybe Reuter's) put out an article with the headline along the lines of "President Bush open to the idea of closing Gitmo," followed by an article that did not support the claim in the headline. Here's the question and answer the claim in the headline is based on:
CAVUTO: But now President Carter has said, sir, shut it down. Joe Biden said shut it down. Do you think it should be shut down?
BUSH: Well, you know, we're exploring all alternatives as to how best to do the main objective, which is to protect America. What we don't want to do is let somebody out that comes back and harms us.
And so we're looking at all alternatives and have been. And when there have been questions of abuse and allegations like the Koran, the Pentagon went through a full investigation and then released the data for everybody to see.
And I will tell you that we treat these prisoners in accordance with international standards. And that's what the American people expect. When somebody put out that Amnesty International report, they asked me about it. I said it's just absurd to equate Gitmo and Guantanamo with a Soviet gulag. It's just not even close.
Replay of Fox Sunday with duncan Hunter is now on Foxnews Channel.....
you would THINK the Republicans would get smart about opening their mouths, but nooooooooooo. It's not called the "Stupid Party" for nothin' ... did a whole two hours pass between Jones opening his mouth and Frost quoting him as THE authority on the issue?
The GOP woman in that interview, btw, is Michelle Laxalt (presumably daughter of Reagan best buddy and former NV Senator). Laxalt has been on a lot lately, primarily as a former colleague and loyal fan of Bolon.
"Katrine Van Witch is on Howie Kutz show claiming there is no liberal bias in the media"
You're a better person than I. That's one person I can totally not stomach. I used to watch when she was on a panel (usually MSNBC) (know thine enemies) but it got to the point I just couldn't listen to her socialist shrill and lies. If she's on, I switch channels.
So does that mean the Dims are going to form a "moral values" think tank?? In their case a think puddle.
Pray for W and Our Troops
You mean Asti Spumante, the champagne? Yes, big-time! But mostly on New Year's Eve.
I cannot take one word from Katrina VandenEVIL
Thanks - it just ended. Ya gotta love Duncan Hunter right about now!
EXACTLY RIGHT!!
Would not be necessary if Chris let Hunter finish a sentence.
Chris said we have had prisoners at gitmo for ssoooooooooo long. If that is the case Chris must think 9/11 happened soooooooooooooooooo long ago.
I wonder which side he walks on - right or left.
These terrorist killed over 5,000 and still killing in Iraq, yet Hunter tries to get that point out and Chris switches to squirrelly guy.
Mc Cullough made some good points. Would like to read the transcript of that interview.
Brit up next. Time for common sense thinking!!
Is that blog reliable bews or is it just one guy's opinion?
Sorry .. but I feel that I need to correct you
Katrina is not a socialist
She is pure 100% commie
And I can relate about her turning your stomach
What they need is Ari back
Scott McClelland is a nice guy and he does a good job
But nobody (except Rummy) could put the press back in it's place like Ari could
Sure Juan is a Liberal but I once heard him say he takes the Liberal position on topics where he may disagree because his job on that show it to air those positions. They always have a guy like Fred, a moderate and a Juan or Ceci type.
This is a first. Bill and Brit are at each other's throats.
I'm glad it happen .. we got to see where Bill really stands
