We hate liberals because they hate America.

Hating fellow Americans didn't become serious until Bush decided to invade Iraq.

Whoever he is, he must be pretty young. Hating fellow Americans became serious....oohhhhh...long about 1967, I reckon. And it sure didn't start on the Right.

I am not sure about O'Reilly as I do not listen to him but in all the years I have listened to Rush I have never, ever heard him say that he hates anyone, let alone liberals.

Why not talk about Howard 'Screech' Dean who has said openly he hates Republicans.

Commentators like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh told Americans to hate the liberals.

I never heard O'Reilly say that.

"Things really got ugly when the religious right said if you don't believe in Jesus then you are going to hell. "

Whoever 'Milton' is he is quite ignorant if he just now learning that Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Things really got ugly when the religious right said if you don't believe in Jesus then you are going to hell.

And another thing! I'm an atheist, but...don't all Jesus' children say you're going to hell if you don't believe? I mean, isn't that, like, "Christianity"?

Who the hell is Milton?

Milton is the pet name Art Buchwald uses for his penis. Now it is damn near impossible to take a man seriously when he has conversations with the penis he endows with a pet name but, undoubtedly, many will.

"Commentators like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh told Americans to hate the liberals."

They did? And, when?

Since when did an American ever need someone to tell them to hate "socialism" liberalism?

The dummycrats are out of their respective closets now, and to hate certainly comes easy!

I guess the leftist in America love Conservative Christians, and remember, American conservatives have never work an honest day in their lives either!

"I can't blame it all on President Bush, but the hate factor in the country was raised to a new high when he said it was politically correct to do it."

President Bush said it was politically correct to do so or the rats just saw they were losing grip on any/all power and started with the hatred towards our President?? Someone should write this dope a letter and tell him before he rips on a talk show host or ordinary Americans he should start with Daischle, Kennedy, Reid, Gore, Pelosi, Boxer, Waxman, and on and on and on with all the "leaders" of the rat party...oh, yeh- and don't forget the sc^mbag of them all...Heil Howard Dean- the GOP's greatest weapon these days...

question 3.) Why do these idiots sound like they don't know what the hell they are talking about?

Yes I know, the correct answer is the most obvious one, suggested by the question itself.

This guy is suffering from a persecution complex. He has to tell himself (and the world) that Rush and B.O. hate him to justify his own hatred of them. It's the ol' "He started it" defense.

Pretty childish view of conservatives, the war, and Christianity, and poorly written, too.

"But what is really tearing the country apart is God. Every group insists they know what God wants for America. People are fighting over the Pledge of Allegiance in the schools, the Ten Commandments on government property and whether Americans came from Adam and Eve or from monkeys." . . ."I thought we settled that years ago," I said. . . ."So did most Americans,

Well it would have been if you could vote on it, but you can't because the big government gang snuck in some people on the unelected, appointed-for-life Superme Court who agreed with them. So the fight goes on and will go on until these issues can be voted on and changed periodically by the people through their elected, not-appointed-for-life legislatures, preferrably at the state level.

This has the markings of a Mike Royko-style "Joe Schlobatnik" column.

I'll always remember Mike for scathing Dan Quayle under his own name (over the "Murphy Brown" flap), while apologizing to him a few months later under the nom de plume of his working-man alter-ego, Joe Schlobatnik.

"Evangelicals are now going all over the country asking - no, demanding - that everyone be born again. The worst example is the Air Force Academy, where the cadets are asked to pledge their lives to Jesus. No one knows what blue skies they will fly into once they graduate."

Oath of loyalty taken by Air Force Academy cadets:

I, (name), having been appointed an Air Force cadet in the United States Air Force, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

I don't see anything about pledging one's life to Jesus. This guy has a few screws loose.
