NEW 'SANHEDRIN' CALLS FOR ARCHITECTURAL BLUEPRINT TO REBUILD JEWISH TEMPLE

New 'Sanhedrin' Calls For Architectural Blueprint To Rebuild Jewish Temple

The Israeli rabbinical council involved with re-establishing the Sanhedrin, is calling upon all groups involved in Temple Mount research to prepare detailed architectural plans for the reconstruction of the Jewish Holy Temple.

The Sanhedrin was a 71-man assembly of rabbis that convened adjacent to the Holy Temple before its destruction in 70 AD and outside Jerusalem until about 400 AD.

The move followed the election earlier this week of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz as temporary president of a group aspiring to become Judaism's highest-ranking legal-religious tribunal.

However, although Steinsaltz's involvement with the endeavor adds important rabbinic legitimacy, other major halachic authorities, including Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the leading haredi Ashkenazi spiritual leader, and Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the premier Sephardi halachic opinion, have refused repeated requests to offer their support.

Nevertheless, the group will establish a forum of architects and engineers to begin plans for rebuilding the Temple – a move fraught with religious and political volatility.

The group, which calls itself the Sanhedrin, is calling on the Jewish people to contribute toward the acquisition of materials for the purpose of rebuilding the Temple – including the gathering and preparation of prefabricated, disassembled portions to be stored and ready for rapid assembly, "in the manner of King David."

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the burgeoning Sanhedrin, said in an official statement that because of "concerns that external pressure would be brought to bear upon individuals not to take part in the establishment of a Sanhedrin, the names of most participants have been withheld up to this point."

"The increasingly anti-Jewish decisions handed down by the Supreme Court prove the need for an alternative legal system based on Jewish sources," said Weiss. "More and more people, including Torah scholars, are beginning to understand this."

The Sanhedrin was reestablished last October in Tiberias, the place of its last meeting 1,600 years ago. Since then, it has met in Jerusalem on a monthly basis.

And I return the reply, prove YOUR theory!!

The Holy of Holies was visible to the people from the Mount of Olives through the EASTERN GATE (Golden Gate) if all the gates in the temple were opened. The ONLY PLACE THAT THIS COULD BE SEEN IS IF THE TEMPLE WAS BUILT ON TOP OF WHAT IS NOW CALLED THE DOME OF THE SPIRITS WHICH IS SOUTH OF THE DOME OF THE ROCK, which means that both Dome of the Rock and the Temple can exist at the same time, which the Bible, speaking of the Tribulation Temple, refers to as the Court of the Gentiles.

"We are speaking of a word spelled "G" "O" "D", not G-D. Thor was a god, for example."

Thor was not a "G" "O" "D", because G O D is English, and the Norsemen didn't speak the language. There is no G O D except in ENGLISH, comprende me? Comprendez moi? Wakarimasu? Kapish?

English is just another Old West Saxon dialect. They all used the same word ~ there is some difference in spelling.

BTW, the King James Version is a translation from OTHER languages, and English isn't among them!

Trust me on this.

"Might we suggest that....."

You may suggest anything you like, just as long as you prefix everything with, This is my suggestion. This does NOT IN ANY WAY MAKE IT FACT. I get my information from the Word Of God - the Holy Bible - The INSPIRED Word Of God. And if I had to choose which one I would believe it would be no contest. Your's are mere subjective suggestions that are slanted to YOUR VIEWPOINT which would make your philosophy of religion harmonious to your belief system. I base mine on what MY God has related to me in HIS HOLY SCRIPTURE.

Did you take a good look at Kings II 22 ~ they had to put the Bible back together with what they could only hope was a complete copy, and they had only one copy.

One does hope they were fully inspired.

Bet you thought it's still exactly the way Moses handed it down.

BTW, when I provided Scriptural references, you have dismissed that information as subjective suggestions

If I were you I'd be real careful dismissing the validity of Scripture. I sure don't!

Which, of course, means that the stone the Moslems revere (since they believe it has Mohammad's horse's hoof print cut into it ) does not have to also be the heelstone under the Altar of the Lord.

Looks like you and I are actually in agreement concerning where the Temple itself is located. Best I can tell there are a lot of folks out there who think the Temple encompassed the entire court Herod built.

I wonder what did happen to that stone? Is it possible the Romans broke it up?

"I dont think christians will be the ones to use the temple.Jews will rebuild"

That's right. The Jews are still and will forever be "God's Chosen People". He never disowned them as "Reconstructionists" and "Replacement Theology" would have you believe. It was a promise made to Israel and Israel alone. He will NEVER break his promise to Israel. That's why He will return to ISRAEL, NOT Salt Lake City, NOT The Grand Ole Oprey, NOT The Crystal Cathedral, NOT to TBN Headquarters, NOT TO CBN headquarters, Y'shua will reign and rule in Jerusalem, Israel, because He too is JEWISH!!!

"Ahmed Mahmad Oufa wrote that the verse that mentions a night journey by Muhammed to a mosque has nothing to do with Jerusalem, as is generally claimed"

There wasn't any mosque in Jerusalem during the life of Mohammed, so he couln't have flown to Allah Heaven from there.

You quibble. Besides, Classical Arabic didn't exist during Mohammad's lifetime either, yet his words are supposedly recorded in it.

This guy has two great grandsons heavily involved in the American military force in Iraq.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem made a very serious mistake.

8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the LORD."

(Hilkiah is a liar, according to muawiyah.)

I bet Jesus saying this threw those listening for a loop.

It's natural for that sentence to say "before whoever was, I was." But saying "before whoever was, I AM" places Him in the present while validating that He was truly before.

I love that verse.

"In others, you must be a Christian to achieve salvation."

You don't "achieve" salvation, you inherit it. Because "For by GRACE are you SAVED THROUGH FAITH, and that not of yourself, it is the GIFT OF GOD. NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST!! Ephesians 2:9.
