The brothers were probably made to realize that dsiposing a body is less than a crime than abetting murder.

Of course, we don't know the whole story.

If Natalee wanted to be with/
go with this boy, why did she
not ask for a chaperone to
go along?

Unless she had no fear of
anyone(?)

>>>She was on vaction for goodness sakes. I hope you two aren't serious in actually blaming the girl?????

Not entirely. We all are responsible for our actions, and the choices we make. She didn't make the best choice.

Points taken. On this thread I have seen almost everyone blamed for her death, chaperones, parents, school, blacks, Dutch, and yes, herself.

The real reason she is dead is because someone chose to kill her and apparently this person did not value life.

this was no accidental
death.

I agree. Too many on these threads are expecting an out-of -the-way, small-town police department to react like a big-city department used to operating in a media fishbowl.

Exactly! Aruba is 6 miles wide and 20 miles long. The only reason we rented a car was because we wanted to get off of the beaten path and see what the real Aruba was like. We saw lots of goats, cactus, divi-divi trees, some poverty and the hill they call a mountain could be seen from all over the island. Divi-divi trees are interesting since they all are bent over at the leaf line due to the west winds. It was a little too chilly for me to do much playing in the surf but we did so anyway. My brother-in-law is 6 feet tall and he could see the bottom and let us know when to avoid the numerous sea urchins.

Yeah, I know. I'm sounding like a travel agent or something but I felt as safe if not safer in Aruba than I do in the town of 4,000 I currently live in.

Roofies:

"Rohypnol is colorless, odorless drug with a slightly bitter taste, which dissolves quickly into drinks and induces amnesia (loss of memory). (NOTE: The company that manufactures Rohypnol is now making it so that it has a blue color). This drug is sometimes used in college age crowds and bars (e.g. fraternity houses) to make women vulnerable to rape. In about 10 minutes, it creates a drunk-like effect that last about eight (8) hours. It enhances the effects of alcohol, causing loss of inhibition, extreme sleepiness, relaxation, and perhaps, worst of all for its victims - amnesia. Rohypnol is effective in any drink, including water. The drug works its way out of the human system usually within 24 hours."

I'm confused. Has her body been found definitely or maybe? The story on Fox is that there are conflicting reports.
