*sigh* I am so tired of saying this, but here I go again . . .screw Mexico. That stupid country causes us sooooo many problems, and refuses to help themselves.

Is there any way to break them off of North America, so that they would be an island???

Aguilar conceded that there had been "a breakdown of society in some parts of the country"

That's sure one hell of an admission to make!

Sounds like Mexico's circling the drain.

"Aguilar conceded that there had been "a breakdown of society in some parts of the country", but that the federal government would be willing to work together with the United States to address the problem."

Call us, Vicinte, if dealing with Mexican violence somehow includes napalm and flame throwers. MOABS are just too quick and clean.

If there were no demand for illegal drugs in the United States, there wouldn't be drug-smuggling cartels shooting cops, border patrol agents, and anyone who happens to get in the way.

No, it's all our fault.
We should just shoot illegal law breakers as they invade our country, before they (the illegal law breaking invaders) get a chance to inflict violence upon legal law abiding citizens of the sovereign USA.

The whole frigging country of Mexico is a third world thiefdom. Let's not make the mistake of comparing them to us in quality of government.

For heaven's sake, would Mexico want us to treat them coming over to our US side like they treat their southern border crossers? I bet they wouldn't because Mexico shoots lots of people who try to come north to cross into Mexico.

Is Mexico held responsible for anything?
Sure doesn't seem like it to me folks.

Border violence....... "that can be solved only through the mutual action of both countries"

We can start by taking the murderer they are harboring and send his butt back to Denver for execution (yeah, trial, too).

After that, we can talk about how you are going to reform your corrupt excuse for a country.....and how it's our fault for not militarily overthrowing the corrupt elites that are the sorry excuse for your democracy.

Here's the bad thing. Fox was the best President they've elected in 50 years.

In the next election, they're going to elect a President that makes us all wish Fox was still in control.

Where is our century's John Pershing when we need him most? What we should do is install our military on the border, build a huge wall across all of it (like the Israelis have done), arrest all illegals and jail those in the criminal enterprise of drug running. Then I suggest a round up and immediate deportation of all illegals everywhere they have moved in the US. If we don't, the Republic is very near death.

until el presidente fox won the election for the pan party in 2000, the pri party was the longest revolutionary party in control of a country--exceeding even the bolsheviks of the soviet union.

...the United States also shares responsibility...

I'm sure we could make amends by relinquishing any claim to Texas and Arizona, transferring the contents of Fort Knox to Mexico, or eliminating any semblance of a border.

Or maybe all three.

He's right, the Untied States does share responsibility.

As long as we pretend to be soverign and allow MILLIONS of Mexicans to enter our country illegally, there are no rules to this game.

...President Vicente Fox's spokesman said the United States shares some responsibility for the problem of border violence.

Vicente, the first step to recovery is admitting that you have a problem, not in finding others to blame. Be a man, Vinnie. Set an example for your crummy countrymen and just 'fess up.

"Hi, my name's Vicente and my country sucks".

Now, if all else fails, blame it on the French!

Apparently the US can not control the Iraq borders with Syria or SA. No wonder there is no control on the US border with Mexico.

NO Patriot Act renewal until the Mexican and Canadian borders are controlled.
