One of my cats used to love to lounge about on the top of my CRT computer monitor. Then she barfed into it. Bye bye $600 monitor. Luckily it was in hibernate mode so she wasn't hurt. These days I have an LCD monitor, so there's no room on top for her. She still leaps up on the desk and looks wistfully up at it, apparently wishing for her old warm sleeping platform.

My male cat Theo used to lounge on my CRT as well, but my CRT died of natural causes (probably hastened by cat fur). So, I went out and got a flat screen monitor. No sooner had I set it up, then Theo walked up to it and jumped up on it expecting find his usual resting place and promptly fell down behind the computer. I couldn't stop laughing. He came out from behind the computer with a very perplexed look on his face. He went away for a few minutes, came back and tried again to the same result. Too funny!
