If PBS is that important to the libs -- let people like George Soros pay for it!

Hope you wrote them a nasty retort and mailed it back to them in their postage paid envelope. I love doing that to AARP, but they're so rich and stupid they keep sending us offers.

Why not just make it fully "donation supported radio". That way, those who want to listen--which means very few people--can donate.
To: wagglebee
PBS has some excellent programming, and some poor as well. There was a time I wouldn't miss the Frugal Gourmet or Trailside. I still have my coffee mug from years ago from my donation, however, since then, they can "color me gone."....The liberal agenda outweighs the few good programs.
To: wagglebee
Yeah, defunding PBS is in a about a dead heat with the establishment of the "Fair Tax". (/sarc)

Children's Television Workshop earns many many millions of dollars each year.
Why would the taxpayer subsidize them?

I usually do that with most junkmail, especially democrap stuff. Hubby asked me why I just ripped it up yesterday and I just wasn't in the mood lol.. I just ripped up and threw away all the junkmail yesterday.
I love sending peta coupons for kfc and mcdonalds that I get in my flyers.

cut all of their funding
I agree.
There are practical as well as ideological reasons for doing so.
If you cut them if half the libs and their media hacks will fight you tooth and nail. If you eliminate them they will fight you tooth and nail.
If you are going to take the heat you might as well make it worth the effort.

Too funny! I've never gotten anything from PETA. Guess I should consider myself lucky, but if I ever do, I'll definitely send them some carnivorous coupons too!

I don't think the Senate will concur. There are too many defenses for this to really happen.

If this happens.......
....I see Al Gore taking over and making PBS his network. Overnight, the libs would have TV and radio outlets galore.
Al Franken and Bill Moyers together!
It would be great to watch wealthy liberals throw all that money down an empty hole, leaving nothing for the liberal politicians.

True, but at least they aren't trying to seel me viagra and tampons every 4 minutes...I can sit down to watch a half hour of nightly business report without trying to find something else to do while the commercials roll.
I don't get why you think that you are talking about "Sesame Street" and "Postcards From Buster".I like PBSkids/PBSkidsGO.I will change the subject. My name is Zachary.(The h is silent and you should know that.) I am a 7year old kid.My best friend is named Dalen.(The e is not silent, just to let you know.) He has a club that I am in right now. That is all I want to say.

they oughta defund national pubic radio while they're at it.
mrs. mcdonalds left them a fortune, so they don't need pubic monies. (joan kroc musta been an idiot.)
