You think drug culture of the 60s that was revolving around rock concerts back then didn't screw up the American family any?
And what did you learn from the medical link to depression and schizophrenia with pot use, great read huh?
The issue wasn't rock and roll, it was about the hippie drug culture surrounding it. Often overtaking many people in music today even, right?

The change in economics changed the American family, not rock and roll. People wanted bigger houses and more toys. Credit became available so people could easily overspend. Instead of saving to buy a new car people financed. Price increases were the result. One wage earner could no longer pay the bills. Both parents went to work. The family collapsed when kids were raised by strangers instead of a parent. Greed did in the American family, not rock and roll or drugs!

Which one? I'm not interested in great reads. I want fact.
If you have a reference to a scientific study that links marijuana and schizophrenia, post it and we'll disect it on the thread. FACT: There is no link to schizophrenia and marijuana.

You watch way too much TV! The hippie drug culture is more myth than fact. Nam disillusioned the young, not pot. Kids lived in fear of the draft notice. It was the same as a death warrant to them. It wasn't like WWII or Korea where you returned home as a hero. Our government and media (the Putnams) caused the drug culture of the sixties, not pot smokin hippies!
