I liked the juxtaposition of the walking matryoshka doll with 'Come to Marlboro country'. In the Kyiv metro there are all these 'taste the West' cigarette ads with Arizona panoramas that seem ironically out of place as well. And a picture of Churchill trying to get you to buy insurance or something.

I have picture of billboard with a half-naked woman extolling the virtues of a wine cooler in a lightbulb-shaped bottle, under the text 'Just screw it in'. On the street beneath the billboard is another of the ubiquitous Ukrainian grannies.

It's a bit racey for a family forum like ours, though ;-)

Given the destruction of three-generation family in the US, I think they should hold the brides and export grannies instead. I am paying $30 per dinner out for a teenage babysitter so that she can watch the TV in my living room, then another $25/week for Russian lessons for my daughter.

Damn social security.
