It makes one think. What would we do if the answer were "no?"

When I look around me I have to wonder if the answer is "NO".

The time has come for the good people of America to stand up and speak out. Both in public forums and in the voting booth.

I see a lot of positive progress, namely the fall of the AWB and the judicial nominations. I'm profoundly dissappointed in our "conservative" leadership's inability to defend our borders and establish trade laws that protect us from our enemies. Public schools are ripe for defunding, as well. Local funding should be adequate, and the local people can resume teaching the three R's and religion if they choose.

You are right, but the msm and liberal left have a different agenda.

I would say YES as long as there are others willing to pay the same price!

It has been many years since I was in the company of those that were willing and as I look around, in the comfort of the United States of America it is very hard to believe, but I know that it is still so in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN.

The PRICE is still being paid and will always be due ........ for FREEDOM'S price is never paid-in-full!!

I have no concerns regarding our military. They are the finest of our young men and women. I know. My son-in-law is in Iraq. He and my daughter are paying a great price. It is the msm, our politicians and the agenda of the liberal left that cause me to pose the question.

I adore our volunteer Armed Forces. Every American who signed up (and is fulfilling thier duties without complaint) is a hero in my eyes.

But it pains me that the left and their MSM lackeys are driving down the enlistment rates, at least in the Marines and Army, with their constant negativity. I wonder how patriotic our youth would be if the draft were re-instated.

Something tells me that Canada would be having as much trouble with their southern border as we do.

We have blogging and forums like FR, and there's FOX news and other conservative media outlets like NewsMax. I think things are turning around. Hang on, we're getting back on track.
