I remember the first time I saw a little ole lady pick up her skirt and pee on a city street. It was a rite of passage for me.
Some people have yet to be domesticated....

And don't come down here to Delta, south of Vancouver. The farms around here use turkey manure - YUCK!

Come to San Francisco.
Defecating in public is a civil right here.

I hope I never have a first, or any, time to witness this.

fill the city toilets with the Koran as wiping paper.

Where were you when that happened? I would have been appalled.

In England, they used to have public toilets on the street that were like a stall in a modern public bathroom. You could tip your hat to passers-by, who could see your head and chest and also your feet and lower legs, but you had enough privacy to take care of business.
This would help keep the streets clean, but prostitution and drug dealing would be obvious to onlookers.

Come to San Francisco. Defecating in public is a civil right here. That was one of the reasons that I left that once beautiful city. Between the beggars and the stentch, not to mention the expense to live there, it just isn't worth it.

I hear some have turned it into an art form.

Remember the cities are where the 'enlightened' folks live, those of us in flyover country are idiots.

I remember it vividly...

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't Vancouver (or perhaps the Government of Canada) provide free needles to drug users? In the hopes that by doing so, the AIDS virus will not spread?
This aritcle, I think, pretty well articulates the problems associated with the outcome of such a policy.

Now THAT should be ample incentive for those folks to quit smoking.

There are homeless people in Canada? Isn't this the country that likes to fancy itself morally superior and far more compassionate than the cruel United States? From listening to them, I wouldn't have thought there was a single homeless person in the entire country!

Seems like we are reverting back to the Middle Ages. Of course, the environmental wackos are probably thrilled -- no wasting water on those E-V-I-L flush toilets, and no trees are being killed for toilet paper. SHEESH! Can a plague be far behind?
