Today in a joint appearance, Senator Reid (nutcase-nevada) conceded defeat today in the most absurd statement contest. "I thought my "Bush is a loser/liar" combination would put me over the top, but Governor Doctor Dean won fair and square.
"I mean, it was a stroke of genious to expand the base of attack by calling ALL republicans both lazy chain-smoking neer-do-wells, AND white christians. Although if I had a brain, I could have thrown "male" in there and beat him".
Howard Dean, after thanking Reid for his kind remarks, was seen scribbling down "white MALE christians" in his notebook.
Frist voted AYE on Pryor

I think there are a lot of Rats scared about not being reelected. They will once again fail and fall even more in the minority. They know this but being obstructionist has consequences.
The Michgan GOP needs a stong candidate to take her out..

So, I take it that we are up for the 3rd. judge? How many are they going to put up for a vote today?
I hate to agree with a democRAT, but Levin is right. The Republicans did indeed nuke many of Clinton's nominations without so much as a committee hearing.
Payback is a b***h.
It appears that the Republicans have the advantage, however. We'll see what the RATS do the next time they have a majority (hoping that never happens).

Translation - "Those damn rednecks are going to defeat Stabmenow unless I help her out by voting for these two."
The two Michigan ones that Levin has been blocking because his cousin got blocked under Clinton are coming up now. Levin's reciting his whole grievance. I thought he was up to 2002, but now he's back to 1999.

I hope that you are soooo right! My husband says I get too worked up about all this, but it makes me so angry! I have fired off more e-mails. Wish that I could have the entire Republican Senate for say 15 minutes, I'd definitely give them all a piece of my mind. And the wonderful 7 that sold us out! Well, it wouldn't be pretty. I wouldn't be much of a lady, that's for sure.
And that was retaliation for FORMER senator Don Riegle of the "McKeating 5" blocking another judge.
I love the look on Dean's face ... "What a wimp."
