If I wanted to read about how ignorant and stupid the American people are, I'd go look at the Guardian, or Le Monde.
You would think that Conservatives would have more faith in their fellow Americans.

Now would be a good time for Kerry to run out there and make a fool of himself with those Downing Docs.

LOL! Thanks for the ping and the commentary.
Don't forget, we also established that zinfandel goes with everything and merlot makes some of us sick.

Are you denying that a large percentage of Americans don't know who the vice president is, or their own senator?
Your snotty tone is noted. It was also unwarranted.

Yeah, I am wondering if he's flip-flopped on that issue, he sure hasn't made any moves in that direction yet.

I think the ignorance of the "people" was pretty apparent last election, when Kerry got as many votes as he did!

My main man at the podium!
I just hope he also gets the chance to smack down any nasty dim claims about Pryor.

Exactly. Sheesh.
So now some snotty newbie tells us that we can't even bemoan the obvious ignorance of the voting electorate.

Don't worry I think Senator Sessions is the point man on this nominee and once the Dems get their charts from Kinkos, and spew their ususal garbage, Jeff will be back.

once the Dems get their charts from Kinkos, Those people can't talk without charts, can they? Except Sheets, who is more creative with his props.

I think he's waiting for the Bolton nomination and that's why he signed the "limited" SF-180 to try and put some of his own issues on the sideline before bringing it up.

Remember, when he was up before, in committee, the dems were "horrified" that he cancelled a trip to Disneyworld, because he found out that the week they were going to be there, Disneyworld was having "Gay Daze"...
THAT, from what I heard, was his main fault in their eyes!

I have to admit that I do find Sheets darn entertaining! Especially when he waves the constitution around!

If I was the first ever registered FReeper, I wouldn't tell you that. You can bemoan, and moan all you want.

Rolling my eyes, I wouldn't want my kids or myself exposed to that either. Why is it that only the left is allowed to have an opinion?

I'm wondering if it might be possible to offset the reports from actual senate floor events from the other comments and conversations on the thread, maybe a color or larger font?
The mods usually purge additional threads announcing the outcome, and reading through the 1000+ posts is rather cumbersome.
Just a thought.

You are probably correct, the "memo" seems pretty shakey to me, not that it will stop them from trying!
