Rush said there will be a Dem leadership and Howard Dean presser today........anyone know what time it will happen?
That would have been a great moment!
He will apologize to Christians of course. He basically insulted christians and said that if you are a donk, you cannot be a Christian.
Standing Ovation for Orrin!
I like Orrin best when he's really angry.
When he's angry he's good.... but he's also funny. I like to watch him when he's torqued.
I know but he is Howard Dean..he will find away in the apology to insult some other group....:-)
I'm not sure .. I had the mute on the TV
But I did see a video clip of Dean and Reid at some kind of meeting
I just got back from downtown , any RATS lookin' silly??
He has the moral authority to have a presser and discuss the terrible injustice that is being done to these people.
as=was. Really messed that one up. Need a cigarette.
Just the usual suspects!
Give 'em heck, Orrin!!!

Dean Says Dems Forging Ahead on Issues
RSS Feeds From ABC 7 Thursday June 09, 2005 1:48pm
Washington (AP) - Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Thursday that the recent controversy over his comments isn't going to stop congressional Democrats from focusing on issues like Social Security, gas prices and the war in Iraq. "You know, I think a lot of this is exactly what the Republicans want, and that's a diversion," Dean said after meeting with Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid about the Democrats' agenda for the next few weeks of Congress. "The truth is that we need to focus on exactly the issues that Harry Reid just talked about, and we're going to."
Dean's has come under fire for recent comments, including his observation that Republicans are "pretty much a white, Christian party." While some Democrats have joined the criticism of Dean, Reid refused to join in.
"No matter how people focus on other issues, we're going to talk about what we feel is so important to people all across this country," Reid said.
Dean said he hasn't talked to Reid about his comments.
"We haven't had any discussions about what's going on in the media circus and all that stuff in the last two weeks," Dean said. "What we're focused on is how to have a decent Social Security system, how to have a strong national defense, how to have jobs in America again, how to deal with incredibly high gas prices and get a decent energy bill which actually will do something about gas prices."
Reid has been criticized for making strong comments as well, including calling President Bush (website - news - bio) a "loser" and a "liar." Reid apologized for the former.
When asked if he had any advice for Dean, Reid said: "Well, I think, as all of you know, that there isn't a single person" among Democrats or Republicans, "that haven't misspoken."
Did Grassley just say the usual suspects? LOL
Grassley mentions People for the American Way. That should be un-American.
That group has definitely upset the Senator!
