Hopefully not at the same time.
Two things about that memo, just off the top of my head...
One, Tony Blair and Bush pointed out the other day, that that memo was from BEFORE they went to the UN...and compared notes with France, Germany and other countries with the same intel about WMDs..
Also, the word "fix" in the memo, as in "fixing the intelligence around the war plans" was written by an Englishman. In the English language, not American, the word "fix" is supposed to mean something different...
I heard that on Micheal Medved's show today---that the verbiage in the memo is being misinterpreted...
I sure hope so! Senator Frist seems to have it under control and the GOP is sticking together for the most part. I think they have everything choreographed. But if we know then the other side will know, so we have to be patient. At least we are moving forward.
Being patient is about to drive me to drink. :-)
WHat new documents does Conyers have?
I have been babysitting, so I haven't been able to see TV today...
BTW, what did Frist say when he closed down the Senate for today? What are they doing tomorrow?
Just stay away from the Blue koolaide!
Did you see Brit Hume's show tonight?
He had a clip of Frist saying that they have "put away the constitutional option", because obviously the dems have "put away the use of the filibuster"....I hope he meant that as a THREAT!
Also, there was a presser with Harry Reid, Howard Dean, Schumer and a couple other dems today---Brian Wilson of Fox, kept asking the dems if they were happy with all of the nasty rhetoric that Dean has been using...even some other journalists asked them that...
Of course they all tried to deflect the question...after the presser, Durbin told the press that was left, that the Fox guy (Wilson) was something like, rude and a huge dork...
I forget the actual insults used, but once again, they have to resort to personal insults!!! LOL
I've always like strawberry more. :-)
In the UK there is no 'fixing tickets', as in the US. So 'fix' means either 'repair' or 'freeze', but has no negative connotation.
Red is good, Blue is bad!
I took it to mean that if the Dems filibuster Frist will bring out the Constitutional option, but the Dems have the filibuster as long as they di not use it. I saw the whole thing on C-Span and Doc was having a hard time not grinning!
post #1058 , ... I've been in and out , uptown and downtown all day , only saw some of what went on today

On the other hand of course they see Terry Moran and his buddies as crisp, professional, polite and feal heros.....What a joke!!
No I didn't. P was watching the Flintstones.

I believe it comes on again about 1 or 2 am, I'll try and catch it then. Wilson is a good reporter. What a jerk Durbin is. But coming from Durbin...I'd rather be criticized by him than praised.
How right you are. I never thought of that connection.
Nice running summary in 1104, thanks.
