The dam is breaking wide open with black Republicans coming out of the woodwork and the libs cannot stop the flow.

Prediction: 2008 Republican Presidential Candidate will take around 15% of the black vote.

There are so many very well known black Republicans. I'd add JC Watts to that list. Sean Hannity had him on his radio show yesterday afternoon. JC was excellent as usual.

I am more optimistic on that, I say by the time 2008 rolls around, 18 % of the black population will vote Republican.
In the last year alone, all races, and all demographics of people ( except for the far loony left ) have gotten a ear full of the double standards , hypocrisy, obstruction, and partisan cheap tricks of the Liberals/Democrats.

Let us hope you are right, since every one of those votes will be one for NOT-HILLARY!

Your short list reminded me of Phil Gramm's speech at the 2000 Texas State Republican Convention. I had to miss part of it for a conference, but got the best of it. He did a great job of pointing up with names and offices, that for all the Dems claim to be the protecter of blacks in America, Republicans actually get them appointed and elected to higher offices.

Then again, Democrats are probably protecting black Americans from the stress of holding such demanding positions as well as actually deciding for themselves which candidate to vote for. Kind of them, don't you think?
