Kulkis has mixed feelings about Bush, describing himself as a fiscal conservative and social liberal.

so do a lot of fiscal conservative, social libertarians.
they vote republican by and large... but have big reservations regarding the constant expansion of the nanny state for the sake of 'christian moral virtues'... at gunpoint.

they represent about 30 percent of the republican party.
the alan keyes type of 'christian morality' voters in the republican party cannot make a decent showing anywhere they make their presence known, politically.

even IF this lady were twice the tramp implied by folks of the religious right:

"Mt 11:19 - The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Mt 21:31 - Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you."

tell us that meeting with a known whore publicly is no disqualification or shame for anybody claiming to be a Christian.

Depending on who the republicans put forth as their candidate we may get a chance to see just how strong the 'christian morality' voters really are.

There was at least one harlot in the lineage of Jesus. That this girl is prostituting herself for money (porn is just wholesale prostitution) is not what contradicts her assertion that she's a Christian ... it is that she can continue in that life without remorse, gleefully. Were she actually a Christian, God's still small voice (His Spirit within her spirit, the earnest of her inheritance) would be ever in her ear and she could not continue in her sin with such a light heart.

That's the percent with the money too. Sigh.

You just misquoted scripture.

The tax collectors (Such as Matthew) and prostitutes did believe him (John), changed their minds repented, changed and believed John. The son Jesus spoke of did not.

30 Then the man went to the other and said the same thing. " 'I will, sir,' he answered. But he didn't go. 31 "Which of the two did his father's will?" "The first," they said. Jesus said to them, "I assure you: Tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you! 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn't believe him. Tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him, but you, when you saw it, didn't even change your minds then and believe him.

If this woman gave up her trade of deceiving others to commit sexual immorality she might be saved.

Other than that she is mocking GOD.

We all sin, but do we do it publicly while trying to
convince others to do the same.

One can repent for our acts but how do you fix the ones
you deceived into doing the same and fix their brokenness?

Are you a Christian? Or one of those let's-just-pick-the-verses-we-like folks?

You're casting a pretty wide net of judgment there, bud.

Just because someone stands up for moral standards doesn't make them a Pharisee.

Yes, Jesus met with and loved sinners of all kinds, including religious hypocrites and prostitutes, but the ones that were accepted were the ones that accepted Him, and there was a noticeable change in their life as a result. He said that those who just talk a good game are still lost. There must be a genuine relationship with Him.

That relationship results in a repentant lifestyle, whether you were a judgmental religious jerk or whether you had sex for money. In the end, we're all in the same boat, except that some have moved past that point of decision, and some are still facing it.

Don't be so defensive toward the 'religious right'. It's a worn out buzzword that belies your true feelings. You sound like a lib. You're better than that.
