This is very true. Before Lep headlined, they were opening up for ACDC. If you check out their High n Dry cd, they sound very ACDCish.
Another bit of info...Mutt Lange, who was the brain-child behind High n Dry, Pyromania, Hysteria, and Andrenalize, was the producer for Back in Black. :)
By far, ACDC and Def Leppard are my favorite live bands.
Joe Elliot has one of the worst voices in rock and roll. No range and he sounds like he's constipated. He squeals too. Like a pig. Like Ned Beatty.
