Great interview
Fantastic answers
A real president, the leader of America speaks!
Cavuto could have left out the MJ bit, though

I love Neils big old head.

You know what always amazes me?

When he reads e mails he gets from people who tell him he does not understand or appreciate people who suffer.

Good God, don't they know the man has recovered from cancer and has MS??

I enjoy Neil Cavuto. Next to Brit, he is my all time favorite. I have never heard him be disrespectful to any guest.

Well, that certainly proves it— the man is obviously an idiot. Can barely sting two words together coherently. Has no grasp of what's going on in the country. Why, if JK was president, we would have a much clearer picture of the nuance of the presidency and the choices he must make forthwith. /sarcasm

It was refreshing just to have an interview where President Bush was asked questions respectfully and not as if he were under cross-examination.

Is this true? I love Neil and it always tends to offend me when his mail is so rude. If this is true I'll be even more upset.

I think he did an outstanding job on the interview, and very respectful. That may have had an effect on the President's demeanor as he seemed more relaxed. Two thumbs up for them.

FoxFan ping!

Darn, I meant to ping you all in time for the 4pm ET show (Neil Cavuto interviews President Bush on today's "Your World". Oh well, if you're still up, or on the west coast, you can catch the re-airing of "Your World" at 1am ET/10pm PT

Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.

No problema on the late ping. Just reading the transcript was excellent. You know what's unusual... as I was reading the questions and answers by Neil and President Bush the words were being 'heard' in my mind with their actual voices. I guess that I've watched Cavuto and listened to President Bush speak on so many occasions over the years that their voice patterns are forever burned into my memory.

Tis true. I am not sure what kind of cancer it was, I believe it was brain cancer. He has spoken of it on several show he was a guest on.

Here is a blurb I found on the internet.

Neil Cavuto has navigated the ultimate route to happiness: live your life doing good, because it is a lot more important than having a lot of fine things. Cavuto, the host of the No. 1 business news show on cable, Your World with Neil Cavuto, is following his golden rule. Just a decade after beating cancer, Cavuto was diagnosed with the life-altering disease of multiple sclerosis in 1996. After his diagnosis, he began thinking less about himself, and instead spent his time searching for meaning and a greater understanding of how others go through pain and difficulty. In seeking inspiration in other's stories, Cavuto found the strength and courage to face his own challenges and achieve success.

You need a big head to be successful on TV.
