DeLay has said people who are in the U.S. illegally should have to return to their native country before applying for a U.S. guest worker program.

Let's say we got them all back to their native country. Would you then support a program that lets any Mexican citizen freely come and go from the US (as we freely come and go from Mexico)? Or would you still be trusting or hoping for the federal government to appropriately control this economic issue?

First of all that isnt remotely what the administration is proposing. Secondly youre proposing to do it ass backwards. When we get rid of the welfare state, secure real property rights, and mexico and canada do the same, then we can talk about such a set up. As of now hell no I wouldnt support that. Not with the mexico we have now, not with the canada we have now, hell not with the US we have now.

So far as *any* one country having unlimited access to a US guest worker program ??? NO

I still believe in "the melting pot" & think all should be able to LEGALLY immigrate to the US.

I was not aware that Americans could so *freely* live, work, own property, etc in mexico, without proper immigration papers.
