President Bush is a good man, and it is up to us to help him see the light and know it is what the majority wants and needs correct action on. The new media is the new force in politics and has yet to reach its full potential, not even close.

We think they don't hear us, but they do, its only a matter of how they're reacting to us.

""He admitted he hasn't done a very good job in being clear to the American people where he's coming from, and he's going to try to do better,"

He and Vincente have done a hell of a job making their position clear to the American people:
That's why so many of us are Pi**ed off!

I'm late to this thread.

But does this statement get the "No $h*t Sherlock" award for the evening?

Hasn't done a good job?

Yeah, I guess so. With all his BS about "temporary guest workers" puh-lease, give me a break.

If GWB is a conservative AT ALL he should take some kind of stand on illegal immigration before a nuke goes off in some US city.

Screw this third rail crap, let's go! for cripes sake! ARGGHGH!! choke gasp cough!!!

"He admitted he hasn't done a very good job in being clear to the American people where he's coming from, and he's going to try to do better.”

“What we've got here is failure to communicate.”

If President Bush really wanted to communicate clearly he would say: “I have allowed and abetted illegal entry in the U.S. because my business supporters profit handsomely from cheap labor.”

Well, he can’t say that can he? So he has to invent other reasons which his lack of verbal gifts does not elevate above the risible.

Actually, the President's position has been quite clear (and reprehensible).

But it's possible that this recent admission and promise to "try to do better" is a good sign. ....we'll just have to wait and see.

Actions speak louder than words. I regret to say that his position is crystal clear.

Seal the borders. Yesterday!

Are we to expect that instead of "guest worker program" he has ginned up some other euphemism for amnesty?

Yes, the problem is just that we don't understand why you won't enforce the immigration laws, and in fact want to pass a bill that will make things worse. All we need is your reasoning and then we'll be fine with it.

We already know his position on illegal immigration. It's to let as many illegal aliens come into this country as he can. He has lost my support and I voted for him twice.

Somebody said Tancredo had softened on his stance. I did a little searching and found this on his web page:

http://www.tancredo.org/issues/issues_immigration.html#security

If you are all angry at Bush, and I haven't read a favorable thing about him on this thread yet, email Rep. Tancredo and tell him we NEED him to run in '08.

I'd like to get a bunch of NH Freepers to send him a petition style letter with as many sigs as we can get telling him we want him in office. If you live in NH and you're interested get in touch with me through my profile.

We have to use our First in the Nation status properly to stop this illegal immigration nonsense, and if Rep. Tancredo gets a letter from enough of us it might encourage him to run. Bill Richardson was just here. People are campaigning already. Let's get Tancredo up here. After all, we're the only state in the country that will charge illegals with criminal trespass. I think he'd do well.

I disagree....

Bush's opinion is very very clear..
He's for the continued dumbing down of America through massive illegal alien insurgency.. ON PURPOSE.. The extreme lack of attention is a very clear message.. Or worse makeing them citzens to make the "problem" go away..

The only ones vague on his stand are morons.. True.. there are quite a few republican morons serveing in D.C... maybe THATS why he deemed to make himself clear to the perpetually clueless..

The extreme lack of attention to the Mexican border is its OWN message.. Bush being Vincente Fox's main squeeze is another but related subject.. The well thought out importation of millions of Proto-Democrats and wards of the States would be a mystery if Bush's fiscal propensitys didn't "out" him.. Kinda makes Bush comeing out for Arlen Spectre very logical..

Americas public schools have dumbed America quite well.. must not be fast enough though... Americas globalists must be in a hurry.. for a populace that will vote in a globalist agenda.. which would be very much more neat than a messy Coup D'Etat..

DeLay said immigration changes must be preceded by tougher border security and enforcement of U.S. laws.

No border inforcement MUST come first or there will be a flood to get in and jump on the bandwagon

Do they think we are fools?

The "let them eat cake " government continues.
I think the real problem is that we DO understand the plan

If every one of us here, who has taken time to post on this subject, actually sent a letter to the White House, he may finally get the message. Or....send one to Ken Mehlman at the Republican National Committee. I did recently.

Our conservative talk show hosts across the country are voicing our disgust at the Republican party for their cowardly stance on illegal immigration and we need to hit our party harder than we have. Our talk show hosts are getting it out there for us and we need to do our part.
