Retired Man Was Working As A Favor
WHITLEY, Ky. -- Investigators are trying to determine what caused the tailgate of a dump truck to give way, burying a Kentucky man under hot asphalt and killing him.
The accident happened in Whitley on Monday, Louisville, Ky., television station WLKY reported.
McCreary County Pastor Jimmy Tucker was killed.
Tucker recently retired from a construction company, but was working one more week as a favor, WLKY reported.
He was looking at the back of another truck that had broken down when the gate opened, causing up to 10 tons of asphalt to fall on him. Investigators said Tucker died instantly.
Another worker was taken by helicopter to a Tennessee hospital for burn treatment.

post #1 & 32 are rather sicko. The man died a horrible death, he does no warrant sarcasm by stupid jerks.

Next to being eaten by a shark, this would be my next least favorite way to go.
Rest in peace.

Sicko? I'm sorry. Is it just that my name so happens to be asphalt? I can assure you that my post was not meant to be a joke. I was replying to a post saying it it was not necessarily the best idea to be walking where the guy was walking. I honestly meant no pun, purely coincidental. I was going to say he learned his lesson, but, sadly, he died, which, of course, is not a laughing matter, but as Lazamataz explained, some people try to deal with death by making jokes or whatever. As I said, that was not my intention. (and why you picked on my unintentional pun among other more clever, and as you would put it, more sicko jokes, I have no idea.) Good day.

People often deal with tragedy by making jokes.Yes, they do and other people often think they are crass, uncaring, insensitive individuals that disrespect the life of the one killed.
Such a variety of ways to react to tragedy.

That is too sad. He works one last week as a favor and it costs him his life?
Damn, and a Pastor to boot.
Talk about a horrible way to die. At least it appears that he knew God being a Pastor and all.
