Damn, if a Republican said that he would be driven out of DC faster than Trent Lott at a NAALCP meeting..

I don't see what the big hullaballoo over Dean's comments is all about, or why it's so surprising. As Dean's predecessor, Terry McAuliffe, said in his address to the DNC summer meeting in Las Vegas (http://www.democrats.org/news/200208120002.html), the DemocRats' key constituencies are, specifically: "African-Americans, Latinos, women, seniors, organized labor, rural communities, ethnic Americans, Asian Pacific Islander Americans, gays and lesbians, Native Americans, youth, as well as Americans with disabilities".

That pretty much leaves the folks Dean is complaining about to the GOP, doesn't it?

Of course, if ever a Republican dared speak of a certain Democrat constituency as "they all behave the same and they all look the same," the fireworks would rival the Fourth of July.

Oh, me too. But I wonder... how long before complete knee-biters like Daily Kos, DU, etc. are claiming Dean is actually a Karl Rove plant? :-)

I'm eagerly awaiting Dean to be caught on video turning beet red over some question put to him. The picture would be worth a thousand words...

Now, if we can just get Hillary to implode at a crucial juncture. I think it's possible...

So I guess that it wouldn't be a problem if we called the Democrats the party of the KKK and segregation -- the Wallace party. Why not, it would be provably true.

Dean couldn't even name the commerce secretary. He also clearly doesn't know who the labor secretary is.

Sadly, the leader of the RNC was on Meet the Press like Dean and we have never heard what he says. Dem's are still controlling the conversation and the right is not moving the ball forward.

Ironically, Dean calls the Republicans the "White Christian Party" but forgets that Kerry, him and Clinton are White people who claim to be Christians.

... Ironically, Dean calls the Republicans the "White Christian Party" but forgets that Kerry, him and Clinton are White people who claim to be Christians. Absolutely!! Especially the "claim to be" part. Why would he say this if there weren't an anti-Christian sentiment behind it? ...
