Why is the missing girl being charged with murder? Did she kill someone and fake her disapperence?
Or did you (or possibly CNN) screw up the headline?

The judge ordered the suspects to be held another 3-8 days.
The attorney for the two men have confirmed the charges.

Your title says the girl was the one charged with murder. Is that right?

Did CNN report it the way your title reads, or did you intend to put her name in parentheses?
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
I had a bad feeling about this one.

My understanding is, that Aruba, like Britain and other countries, do not say much to the outside world, UNTIL AFTER THE TRIAL. Unlike the USA, they do this to prevent bias and jury influencing (hello OJ)....so hard to say just what we might hear about this tragedy. Obviously the girl is dead, a real tragedy.

I didn't have a good feeling either. If they are being charged with murder we aren't looking for white slavery.

I had a bad feeling about this one. Not me. I had presumed the girl skipped out on the return trip because she liked it better where she was.
I'm usually willing to be wrong, but I'm sorry I was this time.
Shalom.

Charged with murder and only held for 3 to 8 days? That's what they said on CNN. I tivoed and close captioned to make sure that I gave the report exactly as it was on the air. I am still looking for more sources to confirm and give more information on the story.

Charged with both murder and homicide? Murder, homicide and kidnapping leading to homicide. Those are the exact words. Aruba law is not American law.

Did they murder her before or after the homocide? Is "homocide" the killing of a homo?
