It wouldn't bother me in the least if he just shot only himself, at this point. Can you imagine all the other crazies being herded to alternate routes because of this? If this keeps up too much longer, people are going to get ugly.
I live on a road that parallels the I-15. There is a lot more traffic going south(towards the closed I-10), than going north. This is going to tie up So Cal really good, unless they can resolve this stand off.

So why can't they just phone him and say "you've got to the count of 10 to get out of the car or we shoot". Why can't they set a time limit? This is series :~)
I agree. These standoffs ruin traffic for hours. They should be given the green light "to take 'em out."
